Amazon wins the rights to .book TLD

It is believed that Amazon paid between $5m and $10m to have exclusive rights to the new gTLD with interested parties including Symantec and Google. This comes after it was recently announced that the online retail giant had acquisitioned the rights for .buy with the fee for this believed to be around $4.6m.
